If your work has appeared in print, broadcast, or reputable independent outlets, include three links. First-time contributors are welcome—lead with one finished piece, not a résumé. Unsolicited manuscripts longer than 2,500 words require a query letter first.

Do you pay for submissions?
Yes. Rates start at $0.50 per word for reported features, $200 per photo essay, and $1,200 for short documentary commissions. Kill fees apply at fifty percent. We negotiate transparently before assignment.
Will my work be edited?
Always. Every piece passes through at least one senior editor and a copy desk. We share edits transparently and never publish without your final approval on substantive changes.
Can I pitch anonymously?

What's your correction policy?
