By using a medical-grade silicone gel cleaner with a pH of 7.0-7.5 (concentration 3%), and rinsing it with 40°C warm water (flow rate 0.5L/min), 92% of the sebum residue can be removed, and the silicone gel expansion rate can be kept within 0.2% (normal cleansers will cause 1.5% expansion). The experiments conducted by one of the manufacturers in 2023 showed that this solution reduced the skin elastic modulus attenuation rate of rpsexdoll from the average 8% annually to 1.5%, and reduced maintenance expenses by 60% (the cost of individual cleaning decreased from $5 to $2).
The innovation of adsorption materials technology enhances the efficiency of oil removal. When cleaning the surface of rpsexdoll using a nano-porous activated carbon fiber cloth (specific surface area 1500 m²/g), the single oil adsorption capacity can reach 0.3 g/g (while that of conventional cotton cloth is only 0.05 g/g), and cleaning efficiency is five times greater. Lab tests show that after 20 reuses, the adsorption capacity of this material remains 85%, but the cost per sheet is $8 ($0.5 for regular cotton cloth), and the annual consumable budget is 320% more.
Deep oil removal is achieved through ultrasonic cleaning technology. Soak rpsexdoll in a 40 kHz ultrasonic tank (power: 300 W) for 15 minutes. Anti-oil coating technology achieves long-term protection. The surface contact angle of rpsexdoll coated with fluorosilane (50 nm thickness) can reach as much as 115° (75° for the untreated surfaces) with 90% reduction in oil adhesion. Durability tests show that the coating still maintains 75% effectiveness after 300 cleaning cycles, but the initial treatment cost is added $30 per item (2.5% of the total cost), and it needs to be reapplied every six months (at a cost of $15).
